If you’re looking for a great place to relax with a good beer and live music near Wisconsin Dells homes, head to Showboat Saloon. Located in downtown, the historic Wisconsin Dells real estate started its life as Stanton’s Palm Garden, a local watering hole run by the Stanton family. During Prohibition, the tavern transformed into a candy shop, but went back to its original purpose when the 18th Amendment was appealed. The current iteration as Showboat Saloon began in 1965, with live banjo playing and sing-along songs.
