Visitors from Lake Delton Homes Enjoy the Trail Scenery
The ride is a great way to experience historic Lake Delton real estate. You’ll pass by the Boot Hill Cemetery, then arrive at the western town of Tombstone. The Tombstone sheriff will show you around and give you a history of the town. Keep your eyes peeled for Jailhouse Bob. After Tombstone, you’ll enter Lost Canyon and see rock formations that are hundreds of years old. There’s also a gorgeous waterfall you’ll see on your way back to the stables.
Before departing back to Lake Delton homes, visitors enjoy stopping by the petting zoo. An added enticement is that it’s free. You’ll meet several sheep and goats. They are all used to humans and expect that you’ll be carrying treats just for them. You can get an ice cream cone full of corn at the front desk. The animals will want to be your friends right away.
Summer operating hours are seven days a week, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. In the winter, be sure to call ahead, as weather conditions are not always safe for riding. Visit Canyon Creek Riding Stable to learn more.
