Homeowners have found that because of the quarantine and shut downs, they have found that their current home is not working for them. With so many people working from home, they find they need more space and/or a better layout for working and spending a lot more time at home. This has caused homeowners to be searching for a new home that better fits their needs. The complication in this is that with so few homes on the market, potential Sellers are hesitant to put their home on the market for fear it will sell before they can find a home that suits their needs.

According to the National Association of Realtors, housing inventory has fallen to a record low. This also includes Wisconsin and our area, The Wisconsin Dells. According to the Wisconsin Realtors Association, Red Hot Market sets new records in 2020 and expects 2021 to continue with this trend.

WRA president, Michael Theo, has noted that this is an ideal time to sell a home. “The housing shortage means, that homes are moving quickly, and a Realtor who is experienced can work to get Sellers Top Dollar for their home.”
