Autumn is in the air on Lake Delton property. When the seasons change families know it’s time for the annual Friends of Mirror Lake State Park Mystery Candlelight Halloween Hike. Saturday, October 22, 2016, as the big, orange moon rises, groups will meet at the beach picnic area. Will friendly spirits emerge as the hike begins promptly at 6 p.m.?
All Ages Living in Lake Delton Team Up to Solve the Clues
Under the glow of a torch lit path, trail blazers move forward amidst the friendly shadows. A mystery guest is missing, and fun clues to their identity emerge along the way. Participants are kept guessing step by step. At the end, the honoree is revealed and celebrated. This family friendly trek is about one mile long and appropriate for all ages. Costumes add to the enchantment of the evening and are encouraged. Don’t worry if little ghosts and goblins build up an appetite or thirst. A variety of food and beverages will be onsite for sale. Memories will be made and tired but happy little ones will be full of smiles as they return home to Lake Delton property.
Friends of Mirror Lake are dedicated to providing support to the park and the community. Having just celebrated a milestone anniversary, Mirror Lake State Park has been an official Wisconsin park for 50 years. Those living in Lake Delton will not want to miss this spooktacular adventure.
